Bloomberg reports that Detroit’s Big 3 automakers (GM, Ford, and Chrysler) are asking for another $50 billion more in bailout. This is in addition to the $25 billion they received a little over a month ago as part of the budget bill.

These are capital-intensive, strategic industries which indirectly support millions of people. They absolutely ought to be bailed out.
