New Stimulus Package On The Horizon

The AP is reporting that there’s a new stimulus package being worked on in Congress. While getting back some of our tax money sounds great, this is totally the wrong way to approach this problem! This package doesn’t find a way to balance the federal budget which is already approaching $1,000,000,000,000! All this does is add to our deficit and steal money away from from future generations and ourselves through forced rampant inflation.

While most members of Congress who favor this ridiculous plan are estimating the cost at $150 BILLION, Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke is claiming that this might not be enough money! What the @#$% are they trying to do? [Further] bankrupting the country is absolutely the wrong way to solve a crisis. I’ve mentioned this before, but the only way to fix this “issue” is to let the markets correct themselves and quit with the meddlesome interventionist policies.

Everyone needs to contact Congress once again and tell them to stop this nonsense. While you’re at it, ask them to push for the resignation of Bernanke and Paulson before they turn America into a purely socialist regime by having the government purchase every single troubled business we have. We can’t afford to continue these bailout bills of either Wall Street or the consumer.
